I know this post is a little late, but I still thought it would be fun to share the most popular posts of 2013. Even though I only started my blog towards the end of 2013, it is interesting to see what you all have liked most so far. I wasn’t too surprised by the top five posts, as they are some of my favorites as well.
The number one post of 2013 was the Pretzel Hugs. These are so easy to make and incredibly addicting. This is a recipe I keep coming back to again and again.
Oreo Cake Pops came in second. I am so glad I finally conquered my fear of cake pops. I surprised myself with how incredible these were. I will definitely be experimenting more with cake pops in 2014.
The Ultimate Pumpkin Bread was another favorite. This is a recipe I make multiple times every Fall and I finally got around to experimenting with a healthier version. If you haven’t tried the Ultimate Pumpkin Bread Pudding yet, what are you waiting for? It will not disappoint.
I’m glad you all share my love of pumpkin because Pumpkin Whoopie Pies was the fourth most popular post of 2013. Mini pumpkin cake rounds with cream cheese filling just can’t be beat.
Last but not least was the Petal Cake Tutorial. This was one of my earliest posts and an exciting accomplishment in 2013. I have wanted to make this cake for awhile and it turned out to be a lot easier than I originally thought.
I love every single one of these recipes, but I have to say my all-time favorite recipe of 2013 was one that I made right at the end of the year. The Nutella-Stuffed Brown Butter and Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookies are some of the best cookies I have ever made. I have already made them 5+ times since I first tried them in December. I just had to share them with everyone! Brown butter changed my world and I can assure you it will be making many appearances on this blog in 2014.
2013 will clearly be hard to top, but I’m up for the challenge. I have an ever growing list of things I want to make and I can’t wait to share them with you. I also have an exciting addition to my blog for 2014. I hope you liked my Mystery Dish post last week, because I have officially been asked to permanently join the group! This means that once a month I will post a recipe that I have created based on a list of ingredients decided upon by a member of the group. I am SO excited to be a part of this and can’t wait to share all the new dishes that I come up with! Happy belated New Year and thank you so so much for all of your support and enthusiasm in 2013!
